NOC for Cinema

As required U/R 3 of the PCR, 1984 applicant have to submit an application under the said rule to the Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- and a plan for the proposed site drawn to scale which shall clearly indicate the surrounding roads and buildings including mosque, recognized educational institutions, hospitals, recognized mausoleums (tombs / mazars) mentioned in revenue record and graveyard situated with a distance of 100 years of the proposed site to proceed further. After receiving the application this has been forwarded to concerned departments for view / comments whether the proposed site is feasible for the cinema or not.

Steps for Obtaining NOC (Cinema Construction)

• Application to Cinema Branch, DC Office, Lahore
• Non-Refundable Fee of Rs. 1000/-
• List of Nearby Buildings (Recognized Hospitals, Schools etc)
• At the Time of Issuance of NOC Deposit Slip of Rs.1000/-

Steps for Obtaining NOC (Cinema Operations)

The application is submitted to Cinema Branch, DC Office, Lahore. Then the Cinema Branch, DC Office, Lahore shall obtain the following documents from concerned department or individual.

• NOC from LDA if site falls under LDA jurisdiction else NOC from Provincial Buildings Department, Lahore
• NOC from Civil Defence Department, Lahore
• NOC from Electric Department, Lahore (LESCO)
• NOC from Rescue 1122, Lahore
• Membership Certificate (Cinema Association)
• Situation Report Obtained from Police Department (in case of Law and Order)
